Bonito to host specialized medical mobile units in September

The municipality of Bonito will host the ‘Carreta da Saúde – Saúde Mais Perto de Você’ project from September 8 to 10 at Praça da Rádio. This initiative aims to expand local access to specialized medical consultations, clinical evaluations, and examinations.

The operation will utilize four mobile units featuring more than 20 consultation rooms. Twelve medical specialties will be offered, including urology, pediatrics, gynecology, orthopedics, vascular surgery, endocrinology, psychiatry, adult neurology, neuropediatrics, cardiology, ophthalmology, and general practice.

The Municipal Health Secretariat will organize appointments in advance, prioritizing patients on specialty waiting lists, those identified through regulation, primary care referrals, children, and priority patients. The goal is to centralize various stages of care—from triage and consultation to examinations and clinical conduct—within a single location.
