Border guards teach sovereignty lessons in Mường Lát

Border guards in Thanh Hóa province are conducting educational sessions for students at Mường Lát Primary and Secondary School to teach them about national sovereignty and border regulations.

Major Tôn, leader of the Mass Mobilization Team at the Tén Tằn Border Gate Border Guard Station, leads these lessons near national boundary markers. Using both Vietnamese and Lao, instructors explain the significance of border lines and the importance of protecting territorial sovereignty. The sessions include practical guidance, such as instructing students to report any violations of boundary markers to border guards or local authorities.

The Tén Tằn station is responsible for managing and protecting over 23 kilometers of the border, which includes nine specific boundary markers.
