Boreal Salud assures continued medical coverage in Tucumán

Boreal Salud confirmed that medical coverage for its more than 250,000 members across eleven Argentine provinces remains fully operational. The only disruption is limited to certain hospital services in Tucumán following the termination of its agreement with the Asociación de Clínicas y Sanatorios de Tucumán (ACYST). All other benefits—including consultations, telemedicine, pharmacies, laboratories, dentistry, imaging, emergencies and routine care—continue as usual throughout the country.

For surgeries, hospitalizations and other affected services in Tucumán, Boreal has set up a personalized coordination system to ensure continuity of care. The insurer will also process reimbursements or direct payments for urgent care within 48 hours of receiving supporting documentation. President Mario Koltan emphasized that dialogue with ACYST remains open to reach an agreement that restores normal service levels while preserving quality and financial sustainability.
