Bornholms Regionskommune committees to see budget increases in 2027

In Bornholms Regionskommune, budget figures for 2027 indicate that four out of six political committees will see increased funding compared to 2026. The Children and School Committee's budget is set to grow from 534.6 million to 560.3 million DKK, while the Social and Employment Committee will increase from 1,588.7 million to 1,616.6 million DKK. Additionally, the Environment and Business Committee and the Economy Committee are also slated for budget increases.

Conversely, the Elderly and Health Committee and the Culture and Local Community Committee will see budget reductions. However, officials note that these shifts do not necessarily represent pure cuts, as changes in task assignments and political committee structures have resulted in funds being moved between different areas.
