Borsa İstanbul BIST 30 futures rise as corporate earnings grow

Borsa İstanbul's BIST 30 index futures for August began the week with a 0.34% increase, trading at 15,899.00 points. This rise follows a period of volatility and is influenced by positive sentiment in global markets, specifically regarding US Federal Reserve interest rate expectations following weak US employment data.

In terms of individual corporate performance, 13 companies listed on Borsa İstanbul demonstrated significant growth in both EBITDA and stock returns over the last three months. Odine Teknoloji led stock returns with a 145% increase, followed by Hedef Holding at 142.79% and Koç Metalurji at 125.91%.

While stock returns were high, EBITDA growth showed different leaders. Özsu Balık recorded the highest EBITDA growth at 699.76%, though its stock return was 46.67%. Other notable performers included ATP Yazılım, Europower Enerji, and Selçuk Ecza Deposu, all of which saw EBITDA increases exceeding 200%.
