Borussia Dortmund eyes potential return of striker Paris Brunner
Borussia Dortmund is reportedly monitoring the development of striker Paris Brunner, who currently plays for AS Monaco. Brunner, a 20-year-old German forward, has shown significant form in Ligue 1, scoring four goals in five matches this season.
Reports indicate that Dortmund may have a buy-back clause in his contract following his move to Monaco in 2024. While specific financial terms remain undisclosed, internal sources suggest the club has secured privileges to facilitate a potential return. Borussia Dortmund's sporting director, Lars Ricken, stated that the club is not burning bridges, noting that “the doors are not closed for Paris,” though he added that a return is not considered an immediate priority.
Brunner's career includes previous stints with Borussia Dortmund's youth teams and Cercle Brugge. His current market value is estimated at approximately 30 million DKK (roughly 4 million EUR).
