Bose launches QuietComfort 2nd‑Gen headphones with TrueSpatial and USB‑C

Bose announced the QuietComfort Headphones (2nd Gen), the first entry‑level model to receive the brand’s TrueSpatial immersive‑audio technology. The headphones offer three spatial modes—Still, Motion and Cinema—plus an adaptive feed‑forward ANC system that better seals the ear cups for glasses wearers. They retain a six‑microphone array, support lossless 24‑bit/48 kHz playback via USB‑C, and provide up to 24 hours of battery life (18 hours with immersive audio) with a 15‑minute quick‑charge that adds 2.5 hours of listening. The design is refreshed with oval ear cups, a sliding headband and plush synthetic‑leather padding. Six colour options are available: standard Black and White Smoke plus limited‑edition Eucalyptus Green, Dewdrop Mint, Rosewood Mauve and Hazelnut Taupe. Pre‑orders opened on 8 August at a price of €349.95 (≈ $359) and shipments begin on 13 August.
