Bosnia and Herzegovina marks anniversaries of fallen war heroes Safet Zajka, Tufa Buza and others

In Sarajevo, the association Druga viteška brigada commemorated the death anniversary of former army brigade commander Safet Zajka, with remarks from deputy president Kemal Avdagić and member Mehmed Baltić. The ceremony also recalled other wartime figures such as Safet Isović and Salka Muraspahić, emphasizing the importance of preserving historical memory for future generations.

In the town of Visoko, a ceremony honored the slain defenders Tufa Buza, Amira Bajraktarević and Safet Subaše. Attended by family members, veterans, war invalids and local officials, the event featured a speech by mayor Mirza Ganić, who highlighted the heroes' bravery and called for unity and respect for the legacy of those who fought for Bosnia and Herzegovina's freedom.
