Croatia and Bosnia and Herzegovina discuss cross-border cooperation and Croat rights
Dragan Čović, Chairman of the House of Peoples of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina, met with Zadar Mayor Šim Erlić to discuss strengthening cross-border cooperation. The discussions focused on connecting local communities in Bosnia and Herzegovina and Croatia through economic, cultural, and institutional partnerships.
Separately, Marijan Marjanović, a representative in the House of Representatives of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, raised concerns regarding the political status of Croats in the country. Marjanović argued that Croat rights are being systematically diminished across various levels of government. He cited specific examples of low representation in judicial and administrative bodies, such as the Federal Prosecutor's Office and the Supreme Court of the Federation of BiH, while emphasizing Croatia's role in supporting the Croat population in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
