Montenegro and Balkans face widespread planned power outages

Multiple municipalities across Montenegro, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Croatia are facing scheduled electricity outages due to planned network maintenance.

In Montenegro, CEDIS has announced disruptions affecting various regions including Podgorica, Nikšić, Danilovgrad, Bar, Ulcinj, Kotor, and Herceg Novi. These outages are intended to improve the quality and safety of the power supply, though they may be postponed in the event of poor weather conditions.

In Bosnia and Herzegovina, planned outages are scheduled for several municipalities within the Sarajevo Canton, including Novi Grad, Novo Sarajevo, Ilidža, Ilijaš, and Hadžići. Additionally, the Tuzla Canton (TK) will experience disruptions in Srebrenik, Tuzla, and Sapna.

In Croatia, residents in parts of Split, Kaštela, Trogir, and Dicmo are expecting temporary power interruptions, with some areas in Trogir facing outages lasting up to six and a half hours.
