Bosnia and Herzegovina marks 35th anniversary of police mobilization

In Sarajevo, a large-scale ceremonial parade titled “From the first call to the defense of the state” was held to mark the 35th anniversary of the mobilization of the Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina's police reserve force. Approximately 1,500 participants, including active police officers from various agencies, cadets from the Police Academy, and veterans from the 1991–1995 period, marched from the Eternal Fire to the Skenderija plateau.

The procession featured modern equipment, including armored vehicles and motorcycles. Following the parade, a formal academy was held at the “Mirza Delibašić” hall. During the event, Chairman of the Presidency Denis Bećirović and Federal Minister of the Interior Ramo Isak addressed the attendees, emphasizing the strength of the nation's security institutions and the importance of honoring those who defended the state.

Separately, in Rogatica, an individual was detained following an incident where a man was struck and run over by a vehicle after a verbal dispute. The suspect faces attempted murder charges and has been placed in custody.
