Bosnian Presidency members send condolences to Qatar over death of former Emir Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani

Members of Bosnia and Herzegovina’s tripartite Presidency, Željko Komšić and Denis Bećirović, wrote letters of condolence to Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani following the death of his father, former Emir Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani. The letters praised the late leader as a visionary statesman who advanced Qatar’s development and international standing, and highlighted his visits to Bosnia in 1998 and 2010 as symbols of strong bilateral friendship. Both Bosnian leaders expressed personal sympathy and reaffirmed the long‑standing cooperation and humanitarian support that Qatar has provided to Bosnia and Herzegovina during its most difficult periods.
