Severe weather and ongoing infrastructure projects are causing significant traffic disruptions across Bosnia and Herzegovina and Croatia. In Bosnia and Herzegovina, fog in valleys and along riverbeds has reduced visibility, while wet and slippery roads increase the risk of accidents. Major roadworks are affecting several key routes, including the A-1 motorway, where the Hercegovina bridge is closed in the direction of Počitelj–Bijača, and the Kakanj–Lašva section is closed to all vehicles. Other affected areas include the Klopče tunnel and various regional roads where traffic is being diverted or restricted to single lanes.

In Croatia, strong and stormy winds (jugo) have halted numerous ferry, catamaran, and boat lines along the Adriatic coast. Inland, thick fog is significantly reducing visibility on many roads. Drivers are being advised to adjust their speed and maintain safe distances due to these conditions and potential landslides.

Authorities in Bosnia and Herzegovina have also reminded motorists that the legal requirement to carry winter equipment will come into effect on November 1.
