Bosnia and Herzegovina schedules power outages in Sarajevo and other regions June 28‑30

On June 28 and June 30, Elektrodistributucija Sarajevo announced temporary electricity supply interruptions for parts of Sarajevo – the neighborhoods Marijin Dvor, Velešići, Koševsko and Pofalići – as part of preparatory work for the TS 110/10 kV Sarajevo 2 substation maintenance.

Similar planned outages were scheduled across other Bosnian municipalities. On June 28, interruptions were set for the centre of Srebrenik and several nearby villages, as well as parts of Gračanica and Doboj East. On June 29, cuts were planned for streets in Tuzla and numerous settlements in Kalesija, Banovići and Živinica. The work aims to improve the reliability and stability of the electricity distribution network.
