Traffic disruptions reported in Bosnia and Herzegovina and Montenegro

Drivers in Bosnia and Herzegovina and Montenegro are facing significant travel disruptions due to weather and infrastructure projects. In Bosnia and Herzegovina, morning fog in valleys and near rivers is reducing visibility, prompting warnings from BIHAMK for cautious driving.

Extensive roadwork and closures are reported across the country. The A-1 highway section between Kakanj and Lašva is closed to all vehicles, with traffic diverted. Other major works include the Nemila-Vranduk section and various regional roads where traffic is being managed through alternating lanes or temporary detours. Additionally, sports events and cycling races are causing localized traffic suspensions in areas like Goražde and Trebinja.

In the Republika Srpska, Miroslav Janković, acting director of Putevi Republike Srpske, announced quality checks for the Klašnice–Banjaluka road following complaints about surface unevenness.

In Montenegro, a compromise has been reached regarding the Podgorica–Danilovgrad public transport route. Minister of Transport Radoš Zečević announced that two new bus stops will be established near the Big Fashion shopping center and Serdara Jola Piletića street to resolve long-standing transit issues for commuters.
