Bosnia-Herzegovina faces widespread electricity and water service outages on July 10

The public utility company JP “Komunalno Brčko” announced temporary electricity interruptions in several Brčko‑district neighborhoods on Friday 10 July 2026, including Sandići, Trnjaci, Dubrave, Gornji Brezik and Luke Ćelovića between 09:00 and 13:00. At the same time, repair work on the water network along Ilićka IX, Ivana Franje Jukića and in the local water supply zones of Bukvik, Poljaci and Vitanovići may cause localized water supply disruptions, while waste collection will continue on a set schedule across numerous settlements.

Separately, Elektroprivreda HZ HB d.d. detailed planned electricity cut‑offs for the same day in Herzegovina covering Ljubuški, Mostar, Čitluk, Livno, Žepče, Novi Travnik, Nova Bila and Vitez. Outages range from brief 5‑minute interruptions to several hours, with specific start‑end times listed for each sub‑station and locality.
