Bosnia-Herzegovina ranks top candidates for Constitutional Court judges
A working group overseeing the appointment of judges to Bosnia and Herzegovina’s Constitutional Court evaluated 30 applications submitted for the public competition. After discarding an incomplete entry, the group conducted interviews and compiled a ranked list of 29 candidates. The highest‑scoring candidates, each receiving 49.5 points, are Katica Artuković, president of the Cantonal Court in Široki Brijeg, and Dženeta Omerdić, a law professor at the University of Tuzla and current adviser to Presidency member Denis Bećirović. The list continues with candidates such as Ivan Matešić, Muhamed Mujakić, and others. The working group has forwarded its findings to the Parliamentary Committee on Selection and Appointment, which will submit the final proposal to the delegates of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina’s House of Representatives.
