Bosnia police get 25 bulletproof vests, OSCE dog‑unit equipment

The police administration in Goražde, Bosnia and Herzegovina, completed a public procurement for 25 high‑quality protective bullet‑proof vests, announced by Minister Edin Vranj. In parallel, the OSCE mission in Bosnia, under the SALDI project, donated specialised equipment for the police dog guide unit, including tactical vests, protective sleeves, scent‑detection tubes, leashes, harnesses and other gear.

The new vests and donated dog‑unit equipment are intended to improve the safety of police officers and enhance operational support for units engaged in drug control, search and rescue, anti‑terrorism and other specialised tasks. Minister Vranj highlighted that the investment strengthens police capacity and contributes directly to greater public security.
