Bosnia‑Herzegovina Presidency Chair Denis Bećirović visits Ilijaš municipality

President of the Bosnia‑Herzegovina Presidency, Dr. Denis Bećirović, paid an official visit to the municipality of Ilijaš. In meetings with municipal mayor Amar Dovadžija, he discussed ongoing and planned infrastructure, education, economic and social development projects, stressing the role of strong local communities for the country’s overall progress. The delegation, which also included diplomatic adviser Nerkez Arifhodžić and cabinet chief Dr. Alija Kožljak, laid flowers at the central war‑memorial honoring fallen defenders and toured the 126th Ilijaš Brigade’s exhibition hall, highlighting the town’s wartime heritage.

Bećirović concluded the visit by speaking directly with residents, fielding questions about everyday concerns and reaffirming the Presidency’s commitment to balanced development across all parts of Bosnia‑Herzegovina.
