In mid‑July 2026, Bosnia‑Herzegovina’s Presidency Chairman Denis Bećirović began a series of visits to municipalities in the country’s east and central regions. Bećirović advocated for the reconstruction of the ZAVNOBiH building in Sanski Most, describing the war-destroyed site as vital for preserving the country’s anti-fascist heritage. This occurred amid broader political debates regarding economic stability, as SDA President Bakir Izetbegović called for significant monthly investments and job creation, proposals which the SDP dismissed as unrealistic.
