Bosniak Party seeks protection for Ervin Ibrahimović following death threats
The leadership of the Bosniak Party (Bošnjačka stranka) has called for urgent state intervention following numerous death threats and harassment directed at its president, Ervin Ibrahimović.
Ibrahimović, who also serves as Montenegro’s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, has been targeted by a wave of online threats on social media and various portals. The party reported that comments include calls for his expulsion from Montenegro, as well as threats of torture and murder against him and his family.
The party leadership held an emergency session to address the situation, noting that the online rhetoric includes incitement of national, racial, and religious hatred, as well as the denial of war crimes. They have formally requested that the Police Directorate and the National Security Agency provide security for Ibrahimović and his family.
