Bosnia's Presidency Chairman Denis Bećirović visits Goražde to discuss investment and youth retention

On 18 July 2026, Denis Bećirović, the chairman of Bosnia and Herzegovina’s Presidency, visited the city of Goražde at the invitation of Mayor Ernest Imamović. The meeting focused on the city’s development priorities, including attracting new investment, advancing infrastructure projects and improving conditions for retaining and employing young residents.

Bećirović highlighted Goražde’s strong industrial base and its strategic importance in eastern Bosnia, urging further strengthening of the local economy, creation of jobs and provision of quality education and dignified work for youth. He stressed that balanced development across all parts of the country is essential for overall economic progress and long‑term stability of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
