Bosqar begins trading on Zagreb Stock Exchange after record €150 million secondary offering
Bosqar, an international investment group based in Croatia, launched its newly issued shares on the Zagreb Stock Exchange. The start of trading follows a secondary public offering that raised €150 million, the largest secondary offering in the history of the Croatian capital market and one of the biggest capital‑raising transactions in the country.
Investor demand reached nearly €178 million, with 5 453 small investors and 26 qualified investors participating. Bosqar’s chairman Darko Horvat said the capital will support the group’s development, including the finalisation of the acquisition of PIK‑Vrbovec and further investments in its business verticals. Founder and co‑owner Stjepan Orešković urged other companies to list, calling the stock‑exchange debut “an opportunity to become bigger than themselves.”
Finance Minister Tomislav Ćorić and Zagreb Stock Exchange president Ivana Gažić highlighted the significance of the deal for Croatia’s capital‑market development, noting it demonstrates increasing financial literacy and a growing investment culture among citizens.
