Boy rescued from moving Ferris wheel in Torreón, Mexico

A young boy was rescued after becoming stuck outside a Ferris wheel cabin during the Torreón Fair in Coahuila, Mexico. The incident occurred in the early hours of Thursday, when the child managed to enter a restricted area of the attraction without authorization.

According to the Laguna Region Civil Protection Coordination, there was no mechanical failure with the ride. Reports indicate that while the boy's mother was inside the attraction with other family members, the boy accessed the rear of the structure and clung to a moving cabin.

Staff members immediately halted the ride's operation to perform rescue maneuvers. Authorities confirmed that the child was brought to safety and no injuries were reported. The incident is currently under investigation to determine circumstances and potential responsibilities, sparking renewed discussions regarding safety protocols and parental supervision at amusement parks.
