Boyacá seeks inclusion in Colombia's National Development Plan

The National Planning Department (DNP) has convened a regional meeting in Tunja to gather local priorities for the 2026–2030 National Development Plan, titled “Colombia, La Patria Milagro”. The event aims to allow the department of Boyacá to influence national investment decisions over the next four years, focusing on critical needs such as road infrastructure for harvests, hospital capacity, and access to potable water.

While the national vision includes 334 megaprojects totaling over 500 trillion pesos, the specific amount of projected investment for Boyacá has not yet been identified. The meeting serves as a platform for municipalities and regional actors to advocate for projects that will be prioritized in the upcoming multi-year investment plan.
