BP Tapera distributes over 459,000 subsidized housing units
The Indonesian Public Housing Savings Management Agency (BP Tapera) has distributed 459,468 subsidized housing units through the Housing Financing Liquidity Facility (FLPP) program between 2025 and October 14, 2026. This total includes 278,868 units in 2025 and 180,600 units in 2026.
To meet a 2026 target of 350,000 units, BP Tapera is collaborating with developers to accelerate the availability of ready-to-move-in and under-construction homes. The agency is focusing marketing efforts on provinces with high potential, including East Java, Central Java, South Sulawesi, South Sumatra, North Sumatra, and Lampung.
In Binjai, local government officials recently held a socialization session regarding the FLPP program to assist civil servants in accessing affordable housing. The program offers a fixed interest rate of 5 percent, down payments starting at 1 percent, and financing terms of up to 20 years for low-income earners.
