BP Tapera expands subsidized housing programs to meet 350,000 unit target

BP Tapera, the Ministry of Housing and Settlement Areas, and various banking institutions are intensifying efforts to expand access to subsidized housing through the Housing Liquidity Financing Facility (FLPP) and Housing Program Credit (KPP). These initiatives aim to support the government's target of providing 3 million homes.

As of September 10, 2026, national distribution of FLPP subsidized mortgages has reached 147,871 units, totaling approximately Rp18.4 trillion in financing. The government has set a target of 350,000 subsidized housing units for the year. To facilitate this, BP Tapera is offering financing terms with tenors of up to 40 years.

In Jakarta, BP Tapera and Bank Jakarta have conducted socialization programs specifically targeting individual service providers (PJLP), such as workers at the Tanah Kusir Public Cemetery, to ensure low-income earners are aware of these housing opportunities. Bank Jakarta is shifting toward an ecosystem-based approach to improve the quality of life for Jakarta's workforce through better housing access.
