BPCL launches 10 kg composite LPG cylinder in Raipur, Chhattisgarh
From 15 August 2026 the state capital Raipur will receive a new 10 kg composite LPG cylinder. The lightweight, rust‑resistant cylinder has a transparent body that lets users see the remaining gas level. Consumers can book a refill through a mobile app and, according to the plan, the cylinder will be delivered to their home within about four hours.
The refill price is set between ₹715 and ₹730, while a refundable security deposit of ₹3,000 and a regulator fee of ₹250 are required for a new connection. The initiative is being rolled out by Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL) distributors, with BPCL distributor union president Murari Gaur confirming the pilot in Raipur will be expanded to other districts after evaluation.
