Bracciano to host 26th Mushroom and Wild Herb Exhibition

The 26th Mushroom Exhibition and 8th Wild Herb Show will take place in Bracciano on October 10 and 11, 2026. Organized by the Alto Lazio Mycological Ecological Group (GEMAL) and the Municipality of Bracciano, the event features an exhibition of fresh fungal species and wild herbs from the Sabatino-Ceretano territory.

The exhibition aims to help foragers avoid mistakes by displaying edible and poisonous species side-by-side, highlighting their differing morphological characteristics. The event will include a 100-square-meter forest reconstruction showcasing representative species from central Italy. Experts from GEMAL will be available to provide information, and several presentations will be held on topics such as medicinal fungi, the genus Amanita, and the genus Russula.
