Italian botanical and agricultural exhibitions

Overview

In late 2026, Italy is scheduled to host several botanical and agricultural exhibitions focused on biodiversity and local flora.

In Rome, the Orto Botanico will hold the 21st edition of ‘La Conserva della Neve’, themed ‘I Frutti’ (The Fruits), to explore the nutritional and symbolic dimensions of fruit. This event will feature native fruit varieties and Mediterranean trees. Concurrently, the Castello di Paderna in Pontenure will host the 31st edition of ‘I Frutti del Castello’, showcasing over 160 exhibitors and forgotten varieties of apples, pears, and other fruits.

Additionally, Bracciano will host the 26th Mushroom Exhibition and 8th Wild Herb Show on October 10–11, 2026. Organized by the Municipality of Bracciano and the Alto Lazio Mycological Ecological Group (GEMAL), the event will feature a forest reconstruction and educational displays to help foragers distinguish between edible and poisonous fungal species.
