Brad Binder to join BMW factory team in WorldSBK

Brad Binder will transition from MotoGP to the FIM Superbike World Championship (WorldSBK), joining BMW Motorrad Motorsport as a factory rider starting in 2027. The South African rider, who has been a prominent figure for KTM across Moto3, Moto2, and MotoGP, will succeed Danilo Petrucci in the ROKiT BMW Motorrad WorldSBK Team.

Binder will reunite with former teammate Miguel Oliveira at BMW. The two riders have a long history of competing together in various Grand Prix categories. BMW aims to leverage the experience of both riders to pursue world titles. Binder, a former Moto3 world champion, is expected to bring significant expertise to the German manufacturer's superbike project.
