BMW Motorrad has announced major changes to its ROKiT BMW Motorrad WorldSBK Team roster. Portuguese rider Miguel Oliveira has signed a multi-year contract extension to remain with the team through 2027 and beyond.
In a separate move, the team and Danilo Petrucci have mutually agreed to end their partnership at the conclusion of the 2026 season. Following this announcement, it was confirmed that South African rider Brad Binder will transition from MotoGP to join BMW Motorrad Motorsport as a factory rider in 2027. Binder is set to succeed Petrucci, reuniting with Oliveira at the German manufacturer.
