Sofisa Visa Infinite revamps cashback program, reducing premium appeal

Sofisa Direto announced a redesign of the Sofisa Visa Infinite credit‑card benefits. The new "Cashback Gourmet" scheme applies a progressive rate that rises with monthly spending: 1.5% on invoices up to R$ 2,499, 2.5% on R$ 2,500‑4,999, 3.5% on R$ 5,000‑7,499, 4.5% on R$ 7,500‑9,999 and 5.8% on amounts above R$ 10,000, with a maximum of 8% for the highest spenders. Cashback eligibility now depends on the invoice value and on maintaining investments with the bank; customers holding more than R$ 250,000 in Sofisa Direto products keep a guaranteed 5% rate, and can reach the top tier by increasing their spend.

The card continues to offer free annual fee, access to the "Vai de Visa" program, ConectCar without monthly charge, and two complimentary VIP‑lounge entries per month, but the lounge benefit now requires a minimum R$ 5,000 monthly invoice. While the higher ceiling may attract heavy users, the added spending and investment conditions make the card more restrictive, potentially diminishing its attractiveness among premium‑card holders.

Multiple reports repeat the same details, confirming the tiered cashback structure and the continued emphasis on investment‑linked eligibility.
