Brangus Association of Paraguay announces National Spring event

The Asociación de Criadores de Brangus del Paraguay (ACBP) has announced the 2026 National Spring event, scheduled to take place from September 30 to October 5. The competition will feature 183 animals, including muzzle specimens, field breeders, and Junior High Selection categories.

Beyond the competitive aspect, the event aims to drive economic activity and genetic advancement. It will include two major auctions: a general auction for various categories and a specialized auction for embryos from previous champions. Following a previous year that mobilized over 4 billion Guaraníes, organizers expect high interest due to current trends in increasing calf production and investing in reproductive genetics.

The event will host 42 exhibitors and feature technical training and genetic evaluations. Dr. José Bareiro will serve as the judge for the competitions. This edition also serves as a stepping stone toward the 2028 World Brangus Congress, which Paraguay is set to host.
