Branimir Nestorović hospitalized amid Mi - snaga naroda political rift

Branimir Nestorović, leader of the Mi - snaga naroda movement in Serbia, has been hospitalized for medical monitoring and therapy. The movement announced that his health condition is currently stable following a voluntary medical examination at the University Clinical Center of Serbia.

The hospitalization follows a period of political instability within the movement. Nestorović was reportedly unreachable by his associates for seven days, during which time internal disputes arose regarding a potential coalition with Aleksandar Vulin’s Socialist Movement. During an extraordinary assembly, a rift occurred, leading to the removal of several presidency members who opposed the cooperation.

Some party members alleged that the assembly was manipulated by bringing in supporters via buses, while others claimed the political shift was influenced by external pressures. Nestorović previously mentioned a visit to Moscow as part of his decision-making process regarding upcoming elections. The movement expects his return within a few days.
