Internal disputes in Mi, snaga naroda movement

Branimir Nestorović, leader of the Serbian political movement ‘Mi, snaga naroda’, has been hospitalized for medical monitoring and therapy. The movement has reported that his health condition remains stable.

The hospitalization occurred amidst significant internal friction within the organization. Following a period where Nestorović was reportedly unreachable, an extraordinary assembly resulted in the removal of several presidency members who opposed a potential coalition with Aleksandar Vulin’s Socialist Movement. Some members alleged the assembly was manipulated, while others suggested external pressures influenced the political shift.

Dismissed officials, including Borislav Antonijević, had previously raised concerns regarding Nestorović’s whereabouts and suggested he might be seriously ill or subject to manipulation. The movement has dismissed these claims as attempts to divert attention from political issues and seize control, clarifying that the dismissed officials no longer represent the presidency. The movement stated it is continuing preparations for upcoming elections.
