Brașov and Pitești complete local infrastructure renovation projects

In Brașov, the Șprenghi Heroes' Cemetery is undergoing extensive rehabilitation to honor those who died in both World Wars. Mayor George Scripcaru reported that works are nearing completion, focusing on repairing paths, access routes, and support walls to address structural issues caused by previous land subsidence. The site serves as a resting place for soldiers of various nationalities, including Romanians, Germans, Soviets, and Hungarians.

In Pitești, Mayor Cristian Gentea has inaugurated the energy renovation of Nursery No. 9 in Popa Șapcă. Funded through the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR), the project included thermal insulation, new joinery, rehabilitated installations, LED lighting, and the installation of solar and photovoltaic panels. The facility has been expanded to accommodate up to 80 children, with the potential to increase capacity to 92, providing improved safety and comfort ahead of the new school year.
