Brasília Airport auction to include ten regional terminals

The National Civil Aviation Agency (Anac) has scheduled an auction for December 17 that will include the Brasília International Airport alongside a block of ten regional airports. This initiative is part of the federal AmpliAR program, which aims to modernize infrastructure in regional areas, particularly within the Legal Amazon.

As part of this concession model, the operator of Brasília will also be responsible for the investment and operation of the regional terminals to ensure economic viability. The regional group includes three airports in Mato Grosso: Tangará da Serra, Juína, and Cáceres.

Other airports included in the contract block are located in Goiás (Alto Paraíso and São Miguel do Araguaia), Mato Grosso do Sul (Bonito, Dourados, and Três Lagoas), Paraná (Ponta Grossa), and Bahia (Barreiras).
