Police investigate multiple violent crimes and offenses in Central Europe
Multiple criminal incidents have been reported across Slovakia, the Czech Republic, and Germany.
In Slovakia, authorities are investigating several violent crimes, including an attempted murder of a taxi driver in Šered by two 17-year-olds, a brutal assault on a man in Pečovská Nová Ves, and a sexual violence investigation involving an ambulance crew in Bratislava. Additionally, a collision on a railway bridge in Liptovský Mikuláš involving a pedestrian has prompted police to issue warnings regarding illegal track access. In Bratislava, a taxi driver was caught driving a Tesla under the influence of THC after colliding with a police motorcycle during the Lovestream festival.
In the Czech Republic, police in Plzeň detained a 60-year-old driver operating a vehicle with a damaged tire while intoxicated and under a driving ban. In Brno, a man was found with extremely high blood alcohol levels. In the Olomouc region, a 21-year-old man was arrested for a knife and club attack at a football field.
In Germany, police in Rheda-Wiedenbrück apprehended a 17-year-old suspect linked to a series of armed robberies at gas stations and a betting office.
