Brazil advances digital sovereignty and startup internationalization

Brazil is advancing several initiatives to strengthen its technological and digital infrastructure. Through the Brasil IT+ program, developed by ApexBrasil and Softex, startups can access special conditions to expand into international markets. The program offers three months of free access to the Starter Plan, which includes market studies, training, and an internationalization roadmap to help companies diversify revenue and reduce domestic market dependency.

Simultaneously, the Brazilian Federal Government has opened registrations for a market consultation regarding the 'Nuvem Brasileira' (Brazilian Cloud) project. This initiative aims to develop a national cloud computing solution to ensure digital sovereignty by keeping data and infrastructure management under national control. The project seeks to incorporate private sector technical knowledge to build secure storage and processing solutions for public administration, ultimately stimulating local innovation and job creation.
