Brazil allocates R$3.3 million to health services in Acre and Felipe Guerra (RN)

The Ministry of Health issued Portaria GM/MS No. 11.530, releasing R$2,842,546 to strengthen primary health care in Rio Branco and Porto Acre, Acre. The funds will be transferred by the National Health Fund to the municipalities’ health funds for contracts, examinations, and essential supplies for basic health units.

Senator Rogério Marinho announced an additional R$500,222 for the municipal health fund of Felipe Guerra, Rio Grande do Norte, from a parliamentary amendment to the General Budget. The money is intended to support service maintenance, purchase of inputs and overall patient care. He said, “Recebemos da assessoria parlamentar do Ministério da Saúde a informação de que foi liberado para pagamento o valor de R$ 500.222,00 para custeio da saúde em benefício do Fundo Municipal de Saúde de Felipe Guerra.”
