Brazil and Argentina reach record air connectivity in 2026
Brazil and Argentina are reaching record levels of air connectivity in 2026, with 18,775 flights planned. This includes 25 regular and 21 seasonal routes connecting seven Argentine cities to 15 Brazilian destinations, representing a 7.5% increase in flights compared to 2025.
According to Embratur, the Brazilian Tourist Promotion Agency, this expansion provides 3.7 million seats and strengthens the link between two major regional tourism powers. Between January and August 2026, Brazil received over 6.4 million foreign tourists, with 2.24 million being Argentines. Over 53% of these visitors utilized the improved air connectivity.
To complement this growth, Brazil has launched an aggressive promotional campaign titled “Brasil. ¡El país que te completa!” aimed at increasing tourist arrivals by 64%. The campaign utilizes Latin American influencers to reach audiences across eight countries, including Argentina, Chile, Colombia, and Mexico, to transform interest into travel plans.
