Brazil announces public auctions for state and bank assets
Various public auctions are being organized in Brazil for the sale of real estate and movable assets.
The Government of Alagoas will hold a public auction on November 5 at 10:00 AM for a property located in the Riacho Doce neighborhood of Maceió. The auction will be conducted both in person at the State Secretariat of Finance (Sefaz) and online. The minimum bid for the property is set at R$ 1.7 million. Proceeds from the sale of this idle asset are intended to be reinvested into public services and improvements for the population of Alagoas.
Separately, Banco do Nordeste do Brasil (BNB) has scheduled an electronic auction for October 14, 2026, at 10:00 AM. This auction involves the sale of movable and immovable assets that are not used for the bank's own operations. The available lots are distributed across ten Brazilian states, including Sergipe, Alagoas, Bahia, Ceará, Maranhão, Minas Gerais, Paraíba, Pernambuco, Piauí, and Rio Grande do Norte.
