Brazil arrests businessman and school inspector for exploiting minors
A businessman originally from Apucarana was taken into preventive custody in Cacoal, Rondônia, after police linked him to the aliciamento and sexual exploitation of adolescent girls. Investigators said he used his bar and nearby school proximity to lure victims, who were then taken to a back‑room residence for abuse. He denies the accusations and remains under investigation.
In a separate case, a 68‑year‑old former school inspector in Ponta Grossa, Paraná, was arrested on charges of raping multiple underage girls, including nine‑year‑olds and a twelve‑year‑old identified later. The suspect, who had prior obscenity offenses, was detained after a complaint by the victims' mothers and subsequent police inquiry. He will remain in custody while the investigation continues.
