Brazil betting market sees CRM partnership and surge in self‑exclusion use

Weebet, a major Brazilian iGaming technology platform, announced a strategic partnership with Optimove, a global provider of AI‑driven CRM solutions. The integration will give operators tools for data‑based segmentation, omnichannel automation and predictive analytics aimed at boosting player retention and lifetime value. CEO Lenildo Nogueira said the deal "allows us to offer one of the most recognized CRM solutions worldwide, enhancing retention, personalization and sustainable growth."

The federal Ministry of Finance reported that 925,000 people have used the government‑run self‑exclusion system for online bets, up from about 700,000 the previous month. The tool blocks the user’s CPF from registering on betting platforms and stops related advertising, part of broader measures introduced ahead of the World Cup, including mandatory warning labels on bet ads starting 17 July.
