Brazil conducts June auctions of seized vehicles and goods
The municipality of São Gonçalo in Rio de Janeiro will hold an online auction of seized vehicles on 23 June. Both conserved cars and scrap vehicles that were seized or removed and not reclaimed within 60 days will be offered. Interested buyers residing in the state of Rio de Janeiro must register on the e‑auction site, and on‑site inspections of the vehicles are allowed until 22 June.
The Federal Revenue Service (Receita Federal) announced an electronic auction of seized and abandoned goods scheduled for 15 June in São Paulo. The auction includes 203 lots with items such as Xiaomi smartwatches starting at R$ 60, two electric motorcycles, a lot of stainless‑steel knives priced at R$ 580 000, and other consumer goods. Proposals can be submitted from 8–12 June, with a visitation period for the lots from 1–11 June across several cities. Participation is open to individuals and legal entities that meet the edital criteria.
