Brazil: Electoral Justice orders removal of Daniel Santos campaign video
The Brazilian Electoral Justice has ordered the removal of a video posted by the campaign of Daniel Santos, a candidate for the Governor of Pará. The court ruled that the video contained disinformation regarding a supposed R$ 6 billion state government tender, noting that the actual estimated value was approximately R$ 477 million. The ruling requires the removal of the Instagram post within 24 hours under penalty of a daily fine and prohibits the republication or promotion of similar content.
