Mobile Veterinary Clinic to Serve Sorocaba's Ipanema do Meio Neighborhood

A mobile veterinary clinic will operate in the Ipanema do Meio district of Sorocaba from 13 to 17 July, offering free services each day between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. The unit will be parked beside the CEI 47 "Professora Betty Souza Oliveira" on Rodovia Raposo Tavares.

The program, run by the Secretaria do Meio Ambiente, Proteção e Bem‑Estar Animal (Sema), targets families in social vulnerability who are registered in the federal Cadastro Único and earn up to two minimum wages. Residents can register online via the municipal portal. The clinic provides preventive veterinary consultations, health advice for pet owners, basic clinical examinations and referrals when needed. For further information, callers can reach Sema on (15) 3219‑2280 during business hours.
