Brazil Extends ENEM 2026 Registration Deadline to June 12

The Ministry of Education and the National Institute for Educational Studies and Research (Inep) announced that the registration period for the 2026 National High School Exam (ENEM) has been extended by one week, now closing at 23:59 on 12 June 2026. The change does not affect the exam schedule, which remains set for 8 and 15 November 2026.

Applicants must pay the R$ 85 registration fee by 17 June, unless they qualify for an exemption. Eligible groups for fee exemption include students completing high school in public schools, participants in the CadÚnico social program, and those already approved for exemption. The new deadline also applies to requests for specialized assistance, name‑social usage, and other accommodations, with results due on 26 June and an appeals period from 29 June to 3 July. The extension aims to give candidates additional time to complete their applications and access the necessary support services.
