Brazil extends ENEM 2026 registration deadline to June 12
The deadline for online registration for Brazil's 2026 National High School Examination (ENEM) has been extended to 23:59 BRT on Friday, 12 June. The extension applies to all candidates, including those exempt from the fee, who must still register through the Inep participant portal.
For the first time, all public‑school high‑school graduates are automatically enrolled; they only need to confirm participation, select a foreign‑language option (English or Spanish), and indicate any accessibility needs or request to be addressed by their social name. New accessibility provisions cover conditions such as fibromyalgia, anxiety, OCD, low vision, autism spectrum disorder, and others. Preliminary responses on specialized assistance and social‑name requests will be issued on 26 June.
Candidates who are not exempt must pay a fee of R$ 85 via Pix, credit/debit card, or boleto, with payment due by 17 June. Exam dates are scheduled for Sunday, 8 November, and Sunday, 15 November, with roughly 10 000 test sites nationwide and an estimated 80 % of public‑school students expected to take the test at their own schools.
